Expectations

We will focus on writing Java applications that provide interactivity and graphics on desktop machines, and how to write web pages to start those applications.

• You are expected to attend one two hour session every week; this will include a lecture and hands on programming exercises.
• You will be given lecture notes, in electronic form unless otherwise requested, but you should take notes!
• Your learning is your own responsibility - I can't teach you, I can only help you to learn. You will be expected to be capable of searching on the Internet for tutorials for further information, and for specific problems, e.g., compile errors.

Assessment will consist of:

• One Assignment: 90%
• One Presentation: 10%

Assignment - 2006
